For the consultants who build the program
You set up the HACCP plan, the SQF or BRCGS system, the training program. Then the client asks what to track training in. This is the answer you can hand them, and a referral fee for doing it.
The offer
20% of year-one revenue, or a flat $250 per close.Your choice, per referral. Paid after the client's first full month on a paid plan. There is no exclusivity, no quota, and no minimum. Stop any time.
A free workspace for your own practice. Use TrainGrid to keep your own certifications and course records, or as a working sandbox to show clients what audit-ready training records look like.
Client trials extended through their audit date. The standard trial is seven days. A plant you refer that has an audit inside the next 90 days gets its trial extended to the audit, so they walk in with a live matrix rather than a half-built one.
Co-marketing when it helps you. A co-branded audit-prep checklist for your clients, and a slot in a joint webinar on training records that survive an SQF Edition 10 audit, if you want one.
What we ask
One thing: an introduction when the training-tracking question comes up. Email us the client's name and yours, or have them mention you when they sign up. That is the whole process.
We do not ask you to demo the product, resell it, or put our logo anywhere. If you want to show it, the free ungated training-matrix builder is a good ten-minute walkthrough that needs no account.
Why consultants recommend it
It replaces the spreadsheet you leave behind. A color-coded training matrix for the whole floor, recurring training that schedules its own next round, certificates that expire on schedule, and the signed sign-in sheet attached to every completion.
It is priced for the plants you actually serve. Flat per-organization plans at $99, $249 and $449 per month, unlimited employees, no per-user fees. The incumbent we were evaluated against quoted roughly $9,000 to $13,000 a year for the same headcount, priced per user.
Built for the plant floor, not the boardroom. Competency assessments, training-hours reporting, course versioning with retraining rules and a signed sign-in sheet on every completion are there because that is what an auditor asks for. Solvesoft builds it in Milton, Ontario.
Fewer non-conformances at the audit you prepared them for. When the auditor asks who was trained on allergen changeover and when, the answer is a five-second lookup with the evidence attached.
How referrals are tracked
Simple and manual on purpose at this stage. When you introduce a plant, we log the referral against your name. When that organization starts a paid subscription we confirm it with you by email and pay the fee by e-transfer or invoice, whichever you prefer, after their first full paid month. Year-one revenue means the subscription fees actually paid by that organization in its first twelve months, before tax.
If a plant you referred signs up without mentioning you, tell us within 30 days of their signup and we will credit it.
